Hello and Welcome.
Sophie here, residing from North Wales, the best place in the world of course. But I’m biased
First and foremost I’m a girl in her own little world. I love to write, I love to run, I love snooker and I love to drink tea.
I’m a university graduate 1st class honours, biggest achievement OF my life to date. And I work as a digital marketing assistant at the brilliant House Nameplate Company (go and see what we make, every single product is amazing! And the Bees? Oh the Bees! More to come on that).
Things have changed a bit around here! Since my last post, I’ve been through a mental breakdown, recovered, become a fur mama to Idris, my mischievous little labrador, getting hitched in May and we’re awaiting our first baby due in September 2018.
One thing you should know is, I am crazy. I don’t hold back with anything, I love to have a good time, I love making people laugh but I’m also very honest. Periodically I will be sent items or be asked to review restaurants etc, I will always write exactly how I feel about it. If I don’t like something, I will say. Equally if I love something I will SCREAM it to the world (Or should that read ‘scribe’) Any sponsored post, guest post or paid review will be marked with two stars ‘**’
Now, I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but I quite like trains. I started working at a Steam Railway when I was 16, once I finished working there, I stayed on as a volunteer. I don’t attend that railway anymore but I am still involved with trains. It just so happens that my partner drives these magnificent beasts (while also driving me insane) I’ll be writing about that on the blog. Keep an eye out!
I’m a self confessed running addict and I absolutely LOVE me some tea! Keep an eye out for some of my taste tests. No two teas are the same I’ll have you know.
I talk a lot about mental health, having suffered or rather been diagnosed around the age of 13 with anxiety, depression and more recently OCD. Running saved my life, it’s how I keep my brain healthy, my mood up and my heart ticking over nicely.
So, you’ve entered my world, you’ve read a bit about me, I’d love to hear from YOU. Leave a comment, send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible!
Bye for Now!
